We are an academic based learning center. Our students all engage in writing, reading, mathmatics, computer usage, science, creative arts, music/movement, sign language, and social development. We also teach Spanish as a second language.
We attend several field trips during the fall school year. During the summer, field trips are taken every other Friday. Although the summer program is not as intense as the school year, literacy is still reinforced daily.
We serve breakfast, hot lunch, and snacks to the children daily. Promoting healthy eating habits, we have a "no sweets" rule for the children's lunch.
Our students are encouraged, but not forced, to engage in public speaking through the various programs put on during the year. They learn and recite lines during the Black History Month play, perform songs in special programs, and become models in our Mother's Day Fashion Show. These and other special programs help the children to gain self confidence.
We accept FIA and offer sibling discounts. We are a state liscenced program with certified staff members. All of the staff are also certified in first aid and CPR.
